Please let me introduce you to Boston Mountain Eye Care. My name is Ben Lynch, the owner of BMEC. I was born and raised right here in Northwest Arkansas and this will always be home. Over the past thirty years I have watched this community explode from a small, rural string of towns into a blended populous of more than 500,000 people.
Local sourcing of products and jobs has always been valued in our community. While it hasn’t always been easy, those of us at Boston Mountain Eye Care have made a conscientious effort to keep dollars and jobs in Northwest Arkansas. We’re located on Sunbridge in Fayetteville, lease our office from a local company and even the sign on our front awning was painted by local legend Joe Alexander. Our logo, all signage and this website were made by WhyteSpyder just down the street. We have our prescription lenses made in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which is as close as we could get to home! (There is not a high volume lab that works with insurance plans in Northwest Arkansas).
In our office, you’ll feel not only local influence, but also a human touch. Our reminder calls and follow-up emails are not outsourced to anyone (or any robot); they are placed personally by staff members of BMEC. We’ll literally give you the shirt off our backs to make sure you have a great experience (hand made by our good friends at Cave Cloth)!
We live, go to school, work and play in Northwest Arkansas and care about both its businesses and environment. As such, we have co-sponsored several events for extensions of Washington County…the Lake Fayetteville Clean-up and the West Fork Clean-up most recently, and we will continue to do more.
In my personal life, I try to direct as much of my discretionary spending towards local businesses as possible. It’s a little more expensive to do so, but know any extra paid will be redeemed in our vibrant, diverse community. I recently purchased a beautiful, handmade outfit for my expected niece from local clothing maker Darwin and Delilah and, with my fiancé, purchased our wedding dress and suit from local designer Bonnerbell.
We love and care about this place and will support our local friends, residents and causes with everything that we do. You are our customers and we’re here for you.
Boston Mountain Eye Care always has, and always will, keep as much business as it possibly can in Fayetteville and NWA. One way we are doing that is by promoting the “Community” tab on our website, bmeyecare.com. Under the “Community” section, you will find logos and event dates for local businesses and organizations belonging to patients and friends of BMEC. Please keep an eye on this portion of our website as you will see events and organizations that are doing good things in the local community.
