FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Fayetteville, AR — May 23, 2024 — The Fayetteville Square is set to pulse with renewed vigor and excitement as Muze Eye Bar, a new retail store from the founders of Boston Mountain Eye Care, announces the opening of its new luxury optical experience at 7 E. Mountain St. This latest addition to the Fayetteville Square retail landscape promises not only to bring a fresh optical shopping experience to the community but also to add to the rebirth of this once overlooked section of the downtown square.

Muze Eye Bar has been eagerly anticipated by Fayetteville residents, who have long awaited the arrival of a locally-owned optical shop that provides optical provisions of the highest quality and craftsmanship, that also matches their enthusiasm for style, comfort, and sustainable living. The store will feature an exclusive, independently-owned luxury frame lineup as well as optical accessories, catering to the discerning tastes of NW Arkansas residents tired of unvaried optometry offices and the one-size-fits-all, low-quality approach of corporate eyewear retailers such as Lenscrafters and Warby Parker.

Independent brands such as Blake Kuwahara, VADA and Garett Leight California Optical were chosen not just for their superior materials and quality, but also for their design inspiration and company culture, as well as a local tie to Arkansas. Blake Kuwahara is well-known in the optical fashion industry for his “artful yet wearable” acetate frames as well as giving back to the LBGTQ community through his charity work. VADA Eyewear is designed in Austin, Texas by Arkansas native Katie Caplener with major inspiration coming from this area including a frame called OZARK. Garrett Leight is a father/son family-ran company based out of California which features frames that are trendless and timeless- they never go out of style.

Dr. Ben and Rhonda Lynch, the visionaries behind Muze Eye Bar, stated, “We are thrilled to bring Muze Eye Bar to the Fayetteville Square. Our mission has always been to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our collection of luxury, handmade eyewear which inspires our clients to think outside the box and expect more when it comes to their eyewear.” Dr. Lynch said, “We see so many people coming to our optometry clinic that are blown away by the quality and craftsmanship of our brands. We also see so many clients letting their insurance dictate when and where they can shop for eyewear, which leads to disappointment, higher prices, and settling for less than the best.”

Muze Eye Bar is committed to becoming an integral part of the Fayetteville Square community, not just as a retailer, but as a partner in its growth and development. The store plans to collaborate with local artists, (the interior features custom furnishings from local woodworker Jeremiah Harenza and his team with Rift Customs, as well as a beautiful and welcoming mural from local artist, The Messy Paintress, Jennifer Northorp) participate in community events such as First Thursday and the Fayetteville Farmers Market, and continue their support of local charities, reinforcing its dedication to the principle ofgiving back to the community that welcomes it.

About Muze Eye Bar:
Muze Eye Bar is the brainchild of Dr. Ben and Rhonda Lynch, born of their love of premium eyewear. While running their optometry clinic, they dreamed of expanding to the downtown area to serve more clients and grow their collection of luxury eyewear. This expansion includes small, independently-owned boutique eyewear brands, unique shapes, and the highest quality materials and craftsmanship available. Muze Eye Bar brands have been verified to produce their products in small batch, eco-friendly fashion. Muze also edges their prescription lenses in-house at their sibling store, Boston Mountain Eye Care. This means a quicker turn around time on getting new prescription eyewear to the customer, lower cost for lenses, and a reduced carbon footprint versus direct to consumer competitors and insurance corporations. Muze Eye Bar aims to bring the big city luxury optical experience to Northwest Arkansas. For more information, visit www.muzeeyebar.com.
